A Chair Affair: Updating a Classic.

Some would say that the Eames Wire Chair is a classic and should remain in its most raw form.

Others might say,  "I'm tired of getting out of my chair and having grid lines on my butt."

Then there are those who can add the element of surprise. They change the way you look at something you thought you knew so well. 

They think outside the lines.

Or, in Akira Ishikawa's case, they think in-between the lines.
